Juliana Arias-Ruiz is a visual artist and musician. Her work mixes drawing and animation with music, searching relationships between image and sound. She has been resident in Leighton Artists' Colony in Banff Centre, Canada. As a musician, is a violinist in a symphonic orchestra. She lives in Medellín, Colombia.
